Requirements:

  • Master in Marketing, Business Administration and related fields
  • Minimum 5 to 7 years of experience in Marketing for non-profit organizations
  • Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in implementing fundraising estrategies for NGOs and social marketing

  • Willingness to travel in and out of the country

Responsibilities:

  • Develop fundraising plan from sources present in Nicaragua and the United States that include new individuals (major donors), national and transnational companies to support institutional requirements and priorities.
  • Actively seek the development of new relationships with individuals and companies in Nicaragua that can be a funding source for ANF in the short, medium and long term.
  • Cultivate and strengthen relationships with current donors, identify, and cultivate relationships with new companies and local corporations to form a network of donors who wish to sponsor programs or subscribe donations for special ANF events.
  • Elaborate the Marketing and Communication plan and required activities in collaboration with the Program Managers to promote the support of local donors for ANF’s projects in the country once a year.
  • Provide information and support for the ANF website, institutional social networks, newsletter, results report and annual report.
  • Supervise all local institutional marketing and communication campaigns to ensure that they meet the objectives they were designed for.
  • Maintain, cultivate, protect and promote the image of ANF in all activities in which it is present.

 

Location: The office for the Marketing and Development Manager is located in Ofiplaza El Retiro in Managua, Nicaragua.

  • Necessary Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Combination of Education and Experience
  • At least 3 years of experience in a marketing or direct recruitment role
  • Experience driving direction and alignment with large cross-functional teams
  • Experience using Microsoft Excel and/or business intelligence platforms to manipulate and analyze data
